A) Information you provide
When you create an account or use Loop, you may provide:
- Account information
- Email address
- Login credentials and authentication-related information (handled through our authentication provider)
- Profile information
- Display name and username
- Profile photo/avatar
- Bio and optional profile fields you choose to add
- Fitness and nutrition information (you choose to provide)
- Information such as height, weight, goals, activity preferences, calorie/macro targets, and related settings you enter to personalize your experience
- User-generated content
- Posts, comments, reactions, and other social interactions
- Workout logs (including exercise details and notes)
- Meal logs and food entries (including notes and totals)
- Recipes or custom food entries you create
- Messages you send (such as group chats and direct messages)
- Photos/images you upload (such as post images or profile pictures)
- Feedback and support
- Messages or feedback you send us (including details you include in those messages)
B) Information collected automatically
When you use the App, we (and our service providers) may collect:
- Usage data
- Screens or pages viewed, features used, and interactions within the App
- Approximate app activity metrics to improve performance and product experience
- Device and technical data
- App version, basic device information, and performance signals
- Error/diagnostic information if something goes wrong in the App
- Network information
- IP address and related network metadata may be processed for security, fraud prevention, and service operation
C) Information from third-party sign-in providers
If you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Apple or Google), we receive information necessary to authenticate you (typically an account identifier and may include your email address depending on your provider settings).
D) Apple Health data, optional
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Loop may request permission to read selected health and fitness data from Apple Health, such as activity data, active energy, workout data, and body weight data.
Connecting Apple Health is optional. If you do not connect Apple Health, Loop will still build your plan using the answers you provide during onboarding and the information you enter in the App.
Loop’s Apple Health access is read-only in this version. Loop does not add to, edit, or delete data in Apple Health.
You can manage or revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.
